don't miss any of them. I would much rather go to the locally owned New Orleans area restaurants

Well no shite. Not everyone lives somewhere like New Orleans though

Had it up in Maryland a few months ago and it was just as awesome as I remembered

PF Chang's in Lafayette. There isn't really a decent Chinese/Asian restaurant over here. We use to go to the one by Lakeside Mall in Metairie all the time pre-Katrina. They would kill it on Ambassador Caffery. Haven't been to one probably in over 10 years.

Yard House please

I second that. Capitol Grille is another favorite when traveling for business.

The Northshore doesn’t quite have the demographics to support either brand just yet.

I’m not a big PF Chang’s fan, but it doesn’t make any sense to me that they wouldn’t open one here. I know people who drive to Baton Rouge just to eat there (ridiculous IMO but whatever). Agree that we are lacking in regards to Chinese restaurants, but we have some decent hole in the wall type Asian spots ( Mae Sonne and Priya’s)

ETA: especially with the connection to this area (which I know doesn’t exist anymore, but did for the vast majority of PF Chang’s existence)

Pollo Campero in Kenner. Yes Lord. They reserve a parking spot for me near the door...

I like Mae Sonne and Blue Basil. Haven't been to Priya's yet, or Spicy House.

I used to love Steak and Ale in Metairie. Wish it would come back.
