What bread do you use on a poboy?

It's hoagie, not hogey, but only if you're a Yankee. If not, use French bread.

French bread, but not all French breads are the same. I've had some poboys on pretty lousy French bread. If the bread ain't right, the poboy ain't right. That's why I listed brands of poboy bread.

If it is served on a hoagie roll its called a hoagie, not a po boy. A hoagie is typically Italian bread and is pretty much exclusive to Philadelphia and Pennsylvania area.
A po boy as all know here is South Louisiana specifically NO and French bread.

One of the defining characteristics of a poboy is that it's on French Bread.
If you don't know this you probably shouldn't open a poboy shop.
