The new Cosmic Crisp is pretty delicious

Did you find that at Costco? I saw some there that were supposed to be like honyecrisp. They were in a big plastic carton with a place for each apple. Like a big egg carton.

I like Fuji better than all those listed.

To each his own I guess. I was so blown away by the pink lady that I just wanted to make sure everyone knew about them.

Turns out those are called JUICI. Buyer beware. The label says "If you like honeycrisp you'll love juici". FALSE. They have almost the taste of a honeycrisp without the crispness that makes honeycrisp so popular. The texture is almost like a Red Delicious. 2 out of 5. Do not buy.

Depends on what they are being used for. Honeycrisp, Fiji, Ambrosia, Gala are all apples I like to eat if wanting to snack on some fruit.

Granny Smith and Red Delicious are two that I like to use if making cinnamon/apple pancakes or apple pies. I especially like the Granny Smiths for pies since they have a bit of tang to them.

Love a Gala. One of my favorite deer stand snacks.

One cannot make a sound determination on this subject without being located where apples actually grow.
