Slow cooker chuck roast from the thread posted a few days ago. I’ve always been leery of slow cooker roasts but This method is kickass.

All pot roast recipes pale in comparison to the Mississippi Pot Roast.

And try subbing onion soup mix for the au jus...it's better.

Green giant makes really good cauliflower sides. Their sweet potato/carrot is awesome too.

I didn’t click your link, but if it’s Mississippi pot roast, I’m having it, too. With cauli mash and salad.

Mississippi roast is the GOAT. Iff you have the few extra minutes to flour and put a sear on a roast before putting it in the crock pot, hard to tell difference from a Dutch oven one.

Chicken tortilla soup tonight.

SPent all day at the oncologists office today. The guy drawing my blood in the lab collapsed and was coded to the ER. On a better note my latest chest CT showed my bilateral PE are resolving and my latest brain MRI looks stable. I recently fell and hit my head so my doc wanted rush me to the ER. I told him I would knock him out if he did any such thing. So now I have to go to the outpatient imaging center for a head CT first thing tomorrow morning.

No time to cook tonight so I picked up some grub from the Hate Burger Express for dinner. I did have some great Turkish food for lunch though.
