An easy Friday, threw a ham steak in a cast iron skillet, some oven potatoes and slaw. Doesn’t get much easier. :)

Picked up a to-go order from El Pavo Real -- had never eaten there before. Wow, it was amazing.

Me and my wife split the Rajas con Queso (roasted poblano strips, caramelized onion and fresh corn in a creamy, cheesy dip served with tortilla chips) to start.

For entrees, she got the Chiles Rellenos Verdudas (roasted pepper stuffed with corn, black beans, squash and pumpkin with red rice and poblano/peanut sauce) and I got the Carnitas (pork shoulder rubbed with achiote and chile paste, braised until perfectly tender with pinto beans and red rice).

That was the best Mexican food that I have had in a long time. RIP my toilet tonight

I never said it was easy or difficult. One can be responsible by wearing one at the table if they’re not eating or drinking.

Ms Vice is out of town for the weekend, taking a break from her usual culinary creations.

I tried to grab a table at Don's tonight, but it was beyond packed with people. Settled on Social, next to Pete's, and enjoyed this good meal.

ETA: your king crab soup looked incredible, BTW. All entries looked great.
