Still too exhausted to cook today, so I went to Popeye's to pick up some chicken for dinner. I asked the woman if she had any spicy dark meat. She asked me to come back to the office.

I did end up with some spicy dark meat chicken for dinner. Of course it was Popeye's so they had none cooked and I had to wait 30 minutes.

The wife made instapot chicken. It was ugly but it was tasty and juicy.

She also made homemade Mac and cheese and boiled cabbage. All in all it was a great dinner. Gingerbread cake in the oven as we speak.

Me too Otis - I have watched the Dogs for years - I have seen good teams beat them and bad teams beat them. I think (knock on wood) they will win tomorrow by 20 points. My hope is that the second/third string is inside the red zone with 30 seconds to go and a +14 point lead and Coach Mo lets them score.

Really PO'ed me when Gus held his scrub players off at the end of their game and wouldn't let them score.

A whole year of getting the crap knocked out of you at practice and then you hold them back in the bowl game they never thought they would see the field. Shameful! Who would it hurt to let them score? Steve Spurrier would never do that. He'd call time to get a new play in.

I think Nick had cheer leaders and water boys playing at the end of the Alabama game so I can see him holding them back to taking a knee.

Oh well. Rant over.

Again, Happy New Year.
