I wonder if your mom ever reads the kitchen forum at the Garden Web. That's where I first read recommendations for having as many drawers as possible instead of lower cabinets.
I think I've already said that it's a beautiful kitchen, but let me say it again, it's beautiful!

Back to vegan meals at my daughter's. Kale, black beans, sourkraut, and roasted potato cubes. Ice cream sandwich when I got home.
