Sounds awesome, Cork. My kids ate adult food very early, and both have broad palates.

We had a buffet at the Commander's Dinner on Parris Island, S.C. Great time, decent food.

So that's why you've been slacking on starting the dinner threads.

Teenaged son had friends over, so 4 large pizzas from Pizza Village South. And they were delicious, as was the leftover bok choy from last night.

Thanks! It was good, but rich.

I made some beef & pork meatballs, browned them in a skillet and set them aside.

I sauteed mushrooms in the fat from the meatballs, and then in the skillet with the mushrooms, I made a 1/2 of a basic Alfredo sauce ( which is 1 stick of butter, one cup of heavy cream, 2 cups of grated Parmesan, salt and pepper) and then added the meatballs back into the sauce. I sauteed the zucchini noodles for just a couple of minutes in a little butter.

I'm a terrible recipe person, do you need more info?

Definitely a low carb high fat meal. NOT low in calories.

I also used good Parmesan, nothing pre-shredded or pre-grated. I use those for other things, but not Alfredo.

Cheeseburger Pie (with ground turkey instead of ground beef). I wanted a roast so bad today, but I'm crockpot-less at the moment and with the heat index well above 100 even in the evening it's too damn hot for all that.

J Lohr has a pretty decent weeknight cab. I'm drinking the KJ Summation.
