Headed home from a tuna trip in Venice. I will probably get a milkshake soon to coat my belly.

Ate at Nimbeuax's in Lafayette, ordered grilled shrimp alfredo-unseasoned frozen shrimp on cheesy oily noodles. Not impressed.

Fresh caught small-mouth bass w/ homemade onion rings. (Sidenote--I have lived in Montana off and on for some 20 years and have only recently come to discover that the eastern portion of the state has some nice large and small-mouth populations in the waterways here. My pops bought a boat this spring and this was our first fry tonight. Got a much appreciated little teminder of our Louisiana roots tonight!)

Nice,
Ran out in Lake Borgne this evening and had two limits of reds between 3-5pm.
Gonna grill tomorrow, on the half shell. Maybe smoke some for a dip. Never mad redfish dip before.
