Was in the Big Easy this week. Stopped by Jacob’s in La Place on the way home to stock up on some andouille. Bought some of their “hot” hog’s head cheese among other things.

My dinner tonight will be the head cheese paired with saltines, good mustard, Brie, aged cheddar, pickles, olives and a mid-tier Pinot Noir.

This did not in fact appeal to the wife and the oldest issue of our marriage who will be dining at a local establishment named after Louisiana’s version of a county.

I have some leftover Chicken, Chickpeas, and Spinach Curry. I’m going to put it on some soft, crusty bread and toast it in an air fryer, layered on top and bottom with fontina cheese and topped with thin sliced red onions.

Turkey tenderloin, baked potato, salad.

Smoked Ham Hocks, sauteed cabage/carrots, pretzelse w/ mustard sauce.

Lotsa wine.
