Winner. I love everything about that meal.

When you set out your array of cheeses, do you put a fork on the tray?

I always see knives, but never a fork.

So frustrating.

Gotta blame somebody!

Someone is shooting off some fireworks not too far from my house for some reason... Hell, I figure I might as well celebrate too. I am off work tomorrow going on the last deer hunt of the season.

Sal and Judy's for the wife's birthday.
Appetizers were the marinated crab claws and a stuffed artichoke dish topped with their famous red sauce. Both of these appetizers were amazing. The white sauce that saturates the crab claws is outstanding. (Otis, they were out of crab au gratin, unfortunately).

We had her mother there with us and no one could decide on what entree to get. We all decided to order one and we would all sample it all.

Mrs4lsu2 got the veal panee with buttered Alfredo sauce. The portion of veal for this dish was astounding. It had 7 whole pan fried pieces of meat along with a huge bowl of pasta.

The MIL got their lasagna. This may have been the best lasagna ever made.

I got the veal cannelloni. This dish consisted of two big cannelloni pieces oped with their awesome red sauce. I didn't let anyone else try my veal cannelloni, as it was that incredible.

We all left full and busting at the seams while taking home at least three full meals as leftovers. The total bill was $140 which included several cocktails and wine. This place is second to none and has to be the absolute best restaurant around, including anything in NOLA.
