I had Lilly's for lunch yesterday and again for lunch today (pho meatball then pho vegetables) .. and I think I'm going to have Lilly's for dinner tonight as well. Probably go with the pork bun w/ a fried egg and some shrimp spring rolls.

I also had Magasin for lunch on Saturday.

Alma I bought an organic ice cream the other day after realizing after all these years that Blue Bell has high fructose corn syrup in it. The organic cookies and cream isn't as sweet, but it's got a really good flavor I don't think I've ever quite tasted in ice cream before.

Hmmmm. I have never seen it. Normally Bryers peach and Blue Bell vanilla bean are my go to flavors. I will be on the look out for it.

Coast of Texas to Bayou La Batre is like a mini-Vietnam. They all pay cash.

Sole is mild sort of like flounder to me. Very good pan sauteed with a lemon butter caper sort of sauce. I like it a lot.

Hmm. I like flounder. You know I've never used capers outside of cooking Italian. I'm going to give that sauce a try soon. Thanks for the suggest.
