Knights of Columbus fried catfish, gumbo, and potato salad. Probably some terrible cupcake or boxed brownie made by a confirmation class kid.

When I was 15 years old I lied to get my first REAL job working at Burger King. When I turned sixteen on my birthday the manager asked me how old I was. I told him I just made 16. He gave me this funny look and I laughed. Legal age for getting a job back then was 16. Lol.........

One if the thing BK had back then wasn't like what they have today. It was called the Whaler. A fish sandwich for those who didn't want beef. Anyway, I decided to make Whalers for dinner tonight since the wife isn't home. Not that that made the decision firm.

Instead of frying these were baked breaded fish fillets. The kids thought I was kinda crazy when I told them how to dress them. I had one with cheese and a jalapeno tarter sauce and one dressed like a Whopper with cheese.
Not a bad meal at all!!!! Add a side of hot French fries and all I needed was a vanilla shake.

Thanks Cork. I go to the neuro-oncologist Tuesday. Hopefully we will begin putting together a treatment plan moving forward. They think they can keep me alive for a short time longer. We'll see.
