WFDT 6/2

Went to Btother’s Fried Chicken, in Ponchatoula, this afternoon. My wife is working. I have some good and some bad. Ordered an eight piece, mixed. Communication was a bit of a problem. Had a sign that said “please be patient, we don’t speak much English”… Did the best that I could. At one point the lady, waiting on me, handed me her phone, I guess with a translation, on it. Couldn’t interpret it. They boxed up my chicken and I guess this on me but I didn’t check it.

Got home and it was all white meat. Chicken was good, pieces were big, it was well fried and juicy. Has a little kick. It wasn’t what I asked for but it was good. The price was good. Will go back if there’s someone behind the counter that I can talk to and understand.

Pizzas

1 - red sauce, mozzarella, roasted red pepper, sweet onion, pepperoni, Spanish chorizo and finished with whipped ricotta

2 - pesto, mozzarella, radicchio, thin shaved sweet onion, Italian sausage, mushroom, topped with arugula

Zinfandel

Movers are coming tomorrow to ship our stuff from Texas to Alabama.

Found a bag of breaded chicken breast chunks in the freezer. Baked them for about 25 minutes.

Will probably heat up some other random arse thing from the two freezers we have in the house.

We did a much better job of emptying out our refrigerators and freezers before a move than the previous 5 moves.
