Most salads are 10x better when they're chopped. I don't know how or why, but it holds true.

It's my BF's birthday and we are still on a Japan high after our recent trip, so he wanted yakiniku...Japanese BBQ.

All-you-can-eat for 90 minutes. So much meat.

It was delicious, great quality and overall, a really good value. Harami miso skirt steak was the clear favorite, with beef tongue and calamari as close seconds.

Sake at the restaurant, Shochu with oolong tea now that we're home.

I think it's because you can mix everything up better and get a little bit of everything in every bite. No bites are just big hunks of dry lettuce.

No food tonight. My long lost cousin (lives out of state) turned up.

chicken looks good Darla what did ya do to Dr it up?
I removed the chicken and used the immersion blender in the soup, which consisted of chopped mushrooms, red bell pepper, Rotel tomatoes and homemade chicken stock.

I wanted it to have a little more body, but didn't want to add other stuff, except more cumin and more ground chili pepper. Added in a freshly diced raw chicken breast and let that simmer. The previous night's chicken had been on the carcass that I was using to make the stock and it was pretty overcooked.

My plan was to top with sour cream, but it was covered in fuzzy blue mold, and my avocado wasn't pretty, either. Made cheese crisps to go with the soup for some crunch.

Aren't you sorry you asked?

I didn't ask, but read your response a few times, and I'm still not sure what you did.

But it sure looks delicious as always!

hail to the cumin

Thickened it and spiced it up!

Oh, and added chicken that wasn't stringy and overcooked!

Awesome.

We ordered out from Half Shell. Got the Herb Encrusted grouper over a bed of spinach, with steamed brocc and fried ocra as sides.

Highly recommend for you and yours. Give that fancy kitchen a rest for once.

CJ, he’s fibbing. His mom cooked meatloaf. He wouldn’t know Rogan Josh from fruit loops.

Well I’m telling you how I feel about getting called out all the time on this board. It’s exhausting. I’ve posted pictures too and yet get 20 plus downvotes.
