Beautiful evening out so the grill got a workout tonight. Boneless pork chop, corn on the cob, and a foil wrap of zucchini, yellow squash, and onions seasoned with a bit of Emeril’s Essence and Prudhomme’s poultry magic.

Turned in my retirement paperwork today. Went to Murphy’s, in Hammond, to celebrate. Had crab claws, got excited and forgot a picture. Had a cup of gumbo, got excited and forgot a picture. Seafood platter for an entree. Thought my wife would pay because I’m about to be poor but nope! :)

I'm of the age where a phone is something I don't live by and it's rarely on my person unless I'm out of the house. So, it's something I rarely think of while I'm cooking. I made a feeble attempt a couple years ago after a similar comment, but it didn't take.

Congrats! It's been 7+ years for since I passed that milestone. I enjoyed most of my work, but after 41 years, I was ready.
