Our nearby farm is about to close for the summer. Today we picked up 4 heirloom tomatoes, 2 red, 1 yellow, 1 orange & 1 green bell pepper, green onions, fresh basil, cilantro, 1 onion, celery and 3 poblanos for $13.
We made tomato sandwiches tonight, with fresh and pickled jalapeño, pepper jack and yum yum sauce on mine, bacon and mayo on mfiwd's.
Tomorrow we will cook something roux/trinity based with the 4.11 #'s of chicken breasts we got at Aldi's for $9.41
