Went to Stein's Market for the first time yesterday (Brewstock after)

Went to Stein's market yesterday for the first time, as i was passing through new orleans. Picked up a few beers i can't find in Baton Rouge.
Nogne' Dark Horizon
Eel River Raven's Eye Stout
St. Arnold's Weedwacker
As i was checking out, i noticed the bottle of Samuel Adams Utopias.
I asked the guy behind the counter if they had anymore, because i thought that was just an empty bottle. He told me it was for sale. I almost bought it, but then realized that A) it probably runs between $30-50 for a bottle, and B) it was behind the counter, no telling how long, and it was pretty hot in that deli. I would like to buy some one day, just to try it, but i want it to be conditioned decently, not behind a hot counter.
Afterwards, i finally upgraded to a larger brewpot. Went to brewstock, bought a 9 gallon Stainless steel brewpot, ported, with a ball valve and brewmometer for $135. Seeing that the Blichmann runs over $200, and the pot itself i bought was $90, plus the $35 brewmometer, i got a good deal. So now full boils can be achieved.

I've never seen it. Would it be near the spirits?

The had it opposite from their main wall of beer... top shelf. Like if you were looking at their BrewDog and Mikkeller selections it would be right behind you. They might all be gone though.

Yeah. It fits in my 5 gallon, should be large enough for the 9 gallon too.

If it's struggling, you can always get a second coil and daisy-chain them together. Fratastic does that and it seems to work well... he also uses a pump and ice water.

You sure it was infinium? I know he has/had a bottle of utopia up there but that would be way more than $50

Not exactly what I would have purchased from Stein's besides the Nogne.. but to each his own.

Well, i had eel river's IPA and summer blonde. I really like the IPA, and the summer blonde was pretty good too. I figured i'd give it a try.
However, i feel no stout will compare to my favorite. Sam smith oatmeal stout.

to quote a great man, "you like what you like." i find most of eel rivers stuff to be meh, just ok. the raven is probably the worst thing ive had by them though.

Was trying to give one of those away to KimJong last night, but apparently he didn't want any awesome beer.
