Anybody have a recommendation for one that is big enough to accomodate a pork shoulder?
I cant get a bone in shoulder in the 11" bags.

Don't really have a recommendation, but to vacuum seal something that large and keep it whole, you may have to look into a commercial type sealer.

Can you cut it up into pork steaks?

I believe Cabela's make a larger one.

I bought those pleated bags by mistake. They are huge. Don’t know how big the roast is that the OP is trying to freeze, but I think these would be sufficient.

Maybe not the advice you were looking for, but I don't think its really necessary to vacuum seal the whole shoulder. They freeze really well. You could consider cutting it in half if you really need to vacuum seal it. If you are planning to smoke it or something, I often cut them in half so I can get more seasoning and smoke on them.

Why have I never ran across these? Gonna order some today. I always cut the butts in half which causes me to cringe every time I do it but it's the only way to get them to fit into the standard bags.
