The likes of The Alchemist, Treehouse and Trillium don't appear on any of these categories to name a few.

No idea what their submission process is but I would think they did not submit an entry.

I don't know about that, but that DDH Commotion is legit.

I scanned the list and didn't notice many beers available for purchase in my area. Are a lot of these one offs? Only available at the brewery?

Wow, that's a lot of categories. Though it's also a solid collection of beer.

I had some beer from Cherry Street when I was in Atlanta a few weeks ago, they were all very good.

very surprised to see them on there. Have heard zero hype around them. I do see some of their beers at HEB so I will check it out.

I heard the batch of ghost used in the competition needed two more weeks to hit its prime.

Looks like they can submit anything they want including one off and seasonal.

TBH, I wasn't impressed with the beers from Oregon that won medals. Of all the IPAs in Oregon, Goodlife, Full Sail, and Alameda won? That's digging deep.

Firestone-Walker didn't finish among the top 10 breweries, but Ecliptic did? OK.

I'm guessing that some breweries took the competition seriously and entered their best stuff (or brewed special one-offs) for the competition, others probably sent some of their standard fare, and still others didn't participate at all.
