Looking for places to hang, drink and eat copious amounts of Louisiana seafood Friday and Saturday.
Any dives or neighborhood haunts you all could recommend would be greatly appreciated.

Uptown doesn't have a plethora of seafood places imo.
In Midcity you have Bevi Seafood which is great.
Remember: Any bar that has a provisional restaurant license is going to be closed this weekend per the city's order. So places like Bayou Beer Garden that serve crawfish on the weekends and are perfect place to hang out and eat and drink are going to be closed.
You are 100% limited to actual restaurants and the like.

This would be a good weekend to go skiing out west. Franky and Johnny’s uptown will probably be open for fried seafood and Dixie beer if that’s what you’re looking for.

Clesi's is there as well and is good.

And may be a better option. Bigger space with a lot of options.

Anyone know if Cooter Brown's will be opened?
If so, front bar or back bar recommendation?

I actually do not know. I would assume Cooter's is a bar with a provisional restaurant license so wouldn't be open but I don't know.
If they have an insta or facebook I'm sure they posted about it.
Just checked their insta: they will be closed.

If it's a bar type place, it is going to be closed.
Places like Clesi's are going to be your best bet in terms of atmosphere coupled with food options.
Maybe lakefront places like The Blue Crab?
