The construction seems to be moving along fairly well. Still don’t see how parking is going to work. Between this and the bulldog It will be a long walk to get to the restaurant.

Anyone have any time frame or hear anything? Are they just going to sit tight until covid is over?

My guess is you’ll pull in on Canal, angled spots behind the building, exit on City Park.

It's at the foot or knee of Canal Street?

Sorry I don't have anything to add. Your post actually tells me more than I knew. Thanks. I was wondering about this.

Horrible place for a place like that.

No parking, and the intersection of City Park Ave. and Canal Blvd is a total clusterfrick and the most dangerous in the entire city. They moved the streetcar station because people were ‘running across the street in traffic’. Guess what? After shutting down that fricking intersection for more than a year, the assholes still do. I got so used to avoiding that area in the over 1 year it was closed, I still do. I’ll always miss the old Buds location by Delgado. Have no desire to go to this new one with nowhere to park.

Yea, I’m thinking the homeless situation outside of it will keep it from remaining 24/7 like they intended

One of the owners of construction company that is building it passed away tragically. Don’t know if that impacted the finish date

Just seems destined to fail even if it were good places to eat

That’s unfortunate.

There was an article a while back saying it was supposed to open in October. But that was in July and I was positive that wouldn’t happen due to covid.

I really hope they can stay open. But that location just doesn’t seem smart.

I’m not familiar with building codes, but I thought you had to have a certain amount of parking available to build a restaurant? And if not, maybe that should be a thing now.

It's amazing how in the rush to complain y'all miss the post that there will be parking in the back. You can clearly see the new lot as you pass the building.
