Just go down Airline to El Rio Grande and see Joe Urdiales. He’s been there since the early 60’s for a reason.

The Bean Dip Factory ( Facebook) is the guy who would be in Zachary sometimes.
He is a relative that makes it and sells it in Central at their Magonlia Market on most Saturdays. He sells other items out there as well.

Look up "The Bean Dip Factory" if you have Facebook. There's a guy there with ties to LaFonda's that sells the bean dip.

I don't think he has a deal with Premier anymore. He sells at some farmer's market in Central now. But, I believe he'll also deliver on certain days.

I can’t remember if the margaritas were that strong but I came back from the rest room and my girlfriend was face down, past out on the table. Had to carry her out.

Update:
Got it this morning and I wouldn’t say it’s 100% the same but it’s very, very close. Definitely a taste I haven’t tasted in years since Lafonda’s closed and I’ll be going back as a repeat customer.
