On the far chance that y'all may want to hang with the T-Town hipster crowd -- and that you like fancy boiled peanuts -- stop in at the Alabama Peanut Company around the corner from Chucks on 23rd Ave for some peanuts and craft-cerveza.

we are going to make the call when we get there tonite, staying at wood manor. downtown area looks pretty cool this will be our first visit

Five is also fun and more relaxed. It is downtown. But they just have five apps and five entrees each night. Cool vibe and can have a drink at the bar.

went to the peanut bar for a couple beers and some roasted nuts then to chucks for dinner. Outstanding all the way around

thanks so much for the pointers we are going to ride around town in the morning and get a good look at the place. Seems like a very cool town

Forté in the Alamiite is good ….and also upstairs rooftop bar is palatable and scenery usually good … imho. Plus a couple of good local bars across da skreet

we saw that I think we will stay there next time, thanks. We rode around Tuscaloosa this morning it’s a nice place. Definitely will stop there on this trip from now on
