Triplet's Blue Store has purchased a former Circle K building on Jones Creek Road and plan to build one of their popular chicken wing restaurants at the site.
This is the old Circle K building by the Shenandoah entrance

St. George is about to get some culture.

That whole stretch is looking pretty grim. The strip where Jimbo's and the one next to it are rough and Hi Nabor and surrounding is pretty dated.
Now those houses behind it will be smelling chicken wing fry grease. Ouch.

Ahh, I remember back in the day when they had Milano Pizza, KFC, and Nooley's on JC

Yeah that area could use a remodel. JC is a lot better since it was widened.

did they scrap the idea for the other location?

I'm not sure about the one they announced on Old Hammond. This one would be fairly convenient for me.

Nooley's
The REAL version (also one on Bluebonnet). The one in Prairieville just isn't the same.
Sorry BigJake

I think the first was on Florida Blvd around Cora maybe?
I go to Jazz Daddy’s on Old Jefferson. I think he worked there.

there's also a location in Nashville I think - lady who used to work at the Jones Creek location works there

Nah, I passed by the other day and it looks like it's going to be ready to open any day now.

My worry too. This usually is a bad sign. See if they keep their quality level up.

Just had Blue Store chicken for the first time. Very tasty, and the wings are big. However it almost immediately gave me diarrhea.

The one on Old Hammond is open. I stopped there today and got 20 wings for my crew. Damn tasty chicken!

Drove by this morning and there was a FOR SALE sign up... did they back out?

I've never cared for it.

For sale signs stay up until closing. Maybe there are problems with closing.
Whoever buys that place has to pay to have the underground gasoline tanks removed. Big bucks.
