Tried Breck’s Bistro by campus today

Got a River Road chicken sandwich and was very impressed. I had never eaten there before but for some reason decided to give it a go and was very surprised. Good portion size, quality ingredients, everything was cooked and toasted to perfection.
I’m honestly just making this post because I’m so surprised at how good it was because I never see anybody go in there

The food is very good. Sadly, I never go and it doesn't look like many people do. Kinda one of those deals where it really lacks atmosphere so, while good, it doesn't really enter into the rotation.

Next time you go it will be absolutely disgusting. I've never seen a more inconsistent place in my life, which sucks because when it is on it is really good. I used to love the bombshells and pig and fig sandwich, and they have some solid martinis.

The food is really good but I have no idea how that place is still open. Even when school is in session that place is always empty. It's too expensive and lacks atmosphere for college kids. Not to mention they have to compete with Walk Ons and Lit Pizza in the same shopping center.
Still, it's a solid place for me to get take out from time to time. I've been a big fan of the pesto pasta the last few times I've been.

Wife and I have been 3 or 4 times and have enjoyed it every time.
I do agree with some the comments in this thread on how they stay open because each time we've been there were few people there.
