Transportation for bar/restaurant hopping in New Orleans

Specifically, what's the Uber/Lyft situation like? Some cities are having a shortage of drivers. Are rides available or will I be at the mercy of taxis and busses? What's my best bet?

They are more expensive than in the past, a bit slower to come, but are there.

Took one yesterday from the fiat grounds to GW Fins, no issues. Seemed a little high but I was drink so I didn't care

There’s a shortage, which is driving up rates, but you will not have an issue finding one. May have to wait a little longer than normal
