it just amazes that these Nola-knights think it is totally unacepptable for me to only list 4 NOLA restaurants that i ever craved.
Insecure much?
and like i said, BR prob only has abt 3 places, and i know that city better.

Just as examples, you consider Lillete, Mila, Herbsaint, LeForet, Domenica, LaBoca, et al, Creole?

good lord man. What, in your opinion, is THE single most popular cuisine or influence in NOLA among well regarded restaurants? You can only pick one.
If anything, especially speaking of the newer "well regarded restaurants" that have opened in the past 15 years or so, I'd argue they all trend much more toward the sort of "New American Hegemony," for which it seems you like to either hail or disdain depending on what suits you particular argument.
In my opinion, there's a handful of places that do a really good job with this (hell, to come up with five, I'll throw out off the top of my head Stella, August, Lilette, Coquette, and probably the current incarnation of Commanders Palace). Some, admittedly, don't do such a good job. But, I certainly have no trouble naming more than four, and that doesn't even consider the places that don't meet the definition, which I "crave."

no, but i would put Antoine's, Galatoire's, Tommy's, Clancy's, Commander's, Arnouad's, etc all in that umbrella. When i city is not huge to begin with and you just eliminate chunks of places like this b/c of personal tastes why is this so hard to understand?
I do really like Lilette a lot, but i can't say it's a place i crave or even remember for a list like this. I tend to like more grounded, base, types of foods for craving with a few exceptions here and there.

your, and others, reaction to my listing of 4, not 5, places in NOLA.

No funnier than your consummate insistence on adhering to the 'look at me everyone, I'm the contrarian badass poster' persona.
Hoboken? I'll admit it can be fun to get a rise out of TA (although, hardly much of a challenge), but come the frick on?

wow, you are acting like an insecure little bitch right now.
so b/c i listed 4, and not 5, places you have to freak out? So everyone must crave the same types of food? get over yourself.
and Hoboken, yes. I have said many times on here i am a pizza and ethnic soul food slut. Those are the places i listed for Hoboken...as well as Pho Bang in Nola, and even Casamento's can be considered sould food for Nola in a way.

don't mistake my boredom for a rise
I'm not the one name calling here. Not necessarily disagreeing with how you pegged Tigre's online persona. I think a lot of it is boredom for Tigre as well. He just has an abrasive way of showing it.
