I don't think they do reservations, but you can call before you leave the house and get put on the waiting list.

I would hate to be at Mason's for mother's day, personally. It's going to be an out of control cluster frick and the food really isnt that great.

Personally I agree, but I know there are a lot of people that like it, so I felt it needed to be mentioned.

Never been impressed with the place either.

Last year, I did the special occasion Sunday brunch at Fleming's for Mother's Day. Everything was on point and delicious. I made reservations far in advance, so I never had to wait for anything, and I never felt rushed out.

That said, I try to avoid restaurants on those holidays.

My mother and I are actually going Saturday, to avoid the crowds on Sunday. Not sure where yet, maybe Beausoleil.

The Hilton downtown has a pretty awesome buffet for Mother's Day in the ballroom.

My house, my FIL's house, my BIL's house...

I'm not fighting a crowd on mother's day for lunch...

Perhaps Portobellos? I really enjoy their brunch and it isn't usually packed.

Every place in town will be a cluster frick on Mother's Day, just like Easter and Christmas and Thanksgiving. Stay home and serve her breakfast in bed.

Mother's Day by far is the worst of the group of days you probably don't want to go out to eat.
