Ronnies Boudin on Florida.. Get the smoked boudin and the boudin balls and cracklin.. They are somehow related to the family that owns the best stop in scott. Good stuff. (I find their reg boudin to be a bit salty though)

I think Pisces is just messing around. No way would Byronz try to assert that. It would be akin to trying to say you invented cheese fries.

Very nice. Someone has really been doing their homework on the Baton Rouge dining scene. Some very nice write-ups in there. LsuZombie, how often would you say you dine out in Baton Rouge, or are most of your meals in New Orleans. I've read several posts on this site, and I think you are originall from New Orleans, yet I still haven't pieced 2 and 2 together. Is your friend going to rotate dishes from various restaurans in and out of his 25 as new places and new dishes become more popular?

You should check out the OT, El Pirate....as I am sure a 30 page Q&A thread would be in order.

Anything and everything you could imagine and then some. If you're thin skinned stay away.

Not everyone who has a chick as their avatar is a woman, as far as I know.

I would have to disagree with you on this.
Shouldn't it best food, period. Not best southern food. To me good food is good food.

I find it hard to believe that the top 2 dishes in Baton Rouge are Indian and Vietnamese. Those two restaurants are either hidden gems that no one knows about or the reviewer has a perspective that is very different from the typical Baton Rougean.

Don't change the list any though because one of the well documented problems with "chain city" is fear of the unknown. The descriptions are detailed enough for people to make up their own minds. You might contact the restaurants and see if they'll give y'all a photo of the featured item.
