The cheapest/not very good beers, tend to do very well.

Some very notable beer countries and their best selling beers:

Ireland - Heineken
England - Carling
Belgium - Jupiler
France - Kronenbourg 1664
Italy - Moretti

Price per can seems to be the biggest factor

There used to be a good list that showed carbs in all the beers.. good eye opening list... those craft beers are fattening as hell.. with major carbs and calories..

More like more readily available.

Most craft beer is regionally available, but every dive bar from Oregon to North Carolina has BMC on tap.

I drink a lot less of them though. I can knock back a 6pk of Miller Lite and not even get a buzz.

Exactly

Id rather drink 1 good beer than a 6 pack of BMC.

Doesn't seem to be the case in the US. The best one is on top.
