Looks like Mary Ann dumped ALL of Tom's recipe collection onto the nomenu website. I guess he won't be needing them anymore.

There's over 650 of them.

It’s root beer glazed ham. Get it right.

does anyone have an update on Tom’s condition? He was a huge part of my life for a long time, it’s very sad that he appears to have been prematurely silenced.

I any case thanks for the recipes Rat I’m going to go thru and see if I can compile them for personal use. And positive vibes to Tom

It's root beer glazed. I've made it a number of times and it's very good. I always make more glaze because it's very tasty.

I don't have an update, but he attended a reunion of NOLA radio personalities a year or more ago, and there were pictures online. He looked like a zombie then, so I doubt he's in very good shape.

Honestly got this at a garage sale 3-4 months ago for 25¢. Best quarter I ever spent. Everything I have tried is excellent including the root beer ham.

In my opinion it’s the greatest cookbook ever written.

I got mine at a garage sale as well, but now I feel ripped off - I paid double that.

Those recipes have been on his website for a long time.

I really don't think this is a new thing and I vaguely remember searching for his recipes before Web 2.0.

I have cooked tons of his recipes and always am pleased with the results.

I bought mine at an auction house we frequent. They sell books for $2.00 each, with everything you might imagine on the shelves. Quality ranges from looks like new to well used and poor condition. The Bibles they have are free.
I never took a Bible because I probably have 10 already,

My copy was "Like New" with no damage at all and I paid $2.00 for it. The recipes are good, at least all I have tried.
