Thoughts on Dexter vs Marlin knives and spatulas?

I have a Dexter kitchen knife and have purchased a few Marlin spatulas for the griddle from that spinning kiosk at the hardware store. Both are white handled and feel decent.
The Marlins seem cheaper (price-wise). Are they overall the same quality?? Any thoughts appreciated.

I like my dexter blue handles. Pop em in the dishwasher with no worries

I have the same take regarding the two. I have some Dexter Russell fish filet knives that I like. Bought a Marlin spatula, chop scoop, and a vegetable chopping knife at Ace Hardware looking at the spinning kiosk. I like the Marlin stuff for how cheap it was but I do feel that Dexter Russel is better grade.

Dexter knives are better than Marlin. Marlin don't keep their edge and are a B to sharpen

Any thoughts appreciated.

I use Dexter Russel, F Dick, or Victorinox. I can attest to those 3. Never heard of Marlin. They may be fine, but I can’t say so.
