Friend gave me a bunch of fresh turnips & I usually smother them, like potatoes, or add them to pork fricasse but someone mentioned roasting them with carrots & sweet potatoes, anyone have a recipe for this? TIA

If they’re small and tender just wash them real well, cube, toss with oil, salt and pepper and roast at 425 for 25-30 minutes stirring them once. No need to peel unless they’re big.

I've roasted them with olive oil, S&P. Quite good. I also like a turnip gratin.

Cut into 3/4" cubes, wash and dry. Coat with a little olive and season to your liking. Roast at 400 for about 10 minutes. I do mine in the air fryer.

This is what we do. Try it with fresh beets as well. Hell try it with all root veggies. Radishes come out great this way, really brings out the sugar.

Just slice them and toss with olive oil, salt, pepper, and smokey paprika. Good to mix in sweet potatoes, onion, parsnips too, or any combination. Roasted turnips are quite good.

Roast in oven. Sliced, in a bit of olive oil. Parsnips, at same time.
Lightly cover some in cinnamon, others in nutmeg.
Decide which you prefer.
