It's not far from where I work but I've never tried it. Let me know how you like it.

On second thought, I don't think I'll be going.

I just checked a web site and well ... nevermind.

Was actually going there for lunch tomorrow.

What you should try is the place a few blocks up the road .. Bayou Cafe. I ate at Table is Bread twice (appeasing the in-laws) meh ... actually, less than meh.

Bayou Cafe, on the other hand ... never had a bad plate there. Ate there quite a bit when i was at Southern.

not sure what cared you off?? The location??? safe as can be in reality... The customers you saw pictured on the website? they are usually close to 50/50 at lunch.............. or do their references to God or the gospel music scare you off???

No big deal really since YOU are the only one losing out on a quality lunch in a safe and friendly atmosphere..

you can count on giving up some great places to eat including MANY of your favorites.

Those inspections are BS anyway. I have a couple fiends who have restaurants, one is actually a bakery. They both know when the inspection is coming and both lay so much free shite on the person doing the inspection that the majority of issues never even get reported. It's really like anything else, payoffs and graft are rampant.

Any restaurant whose major marketing point is religion is likely to be crap.

I need to delete that website from my favorites.

Reading it makes me just want to stay home and cook myself.

The funny thing is that the owner also owns a night club on Plank Road named Raggs.

Best fried chickens in town.

@Sparkafatty ... you can't be serious ... you find NO HUMOR in a restaurant being promoted as a Christian establishment, even advertising on TV with Gospel music in the background ... but the owner also owns a night club on Plank Road that happens to have a death-trap for a parking lot?

And before you go there ... i ain't hating, i just find it humorous. I know the guy, i've done business with him. At RAGGS, not Table is Bread ... i used to DJ and do promotion when i was at Southern.

He's a good guy, ... i just find it humorous ... nothing more, nothing less.
