I buy it all the time.

Allesi White Balsamic Pear Infused.

I just get it at the grocery store. Not even that expensive.

I mix it with Blue Cheese Dressing to make a Blue Cheese Pear Vinaigrette.

I think some of the love for Tabasco is that people grew up with it being the only hot sauce around. It was in most restaurants and homes. Its really familiar

In New Iberia Public Schools there was Salt, Pepper and Tabasco on the table when you walked into the cafeteria for lunch. We were raised on the stuff.

uh, no. it's vinegar with red food coloring. give me crystal or la hot sauce any day of the week over Tabasco.

anyways, sriracha doesn't fit into the same category IMO. it's like a paste. plus it's a little sweet and has garlic as well.

dude Tabasco is so watery it's basically see through. la hot sauce is much thicker and isn't so watered down, errr, should I say vinegared down.

Tabasco has Tabasco peppers

la hot sauce has cayenne

and like I said, la hot sauce is much thicker and more flavorful

thicker, but has no kick. it's basically a thinned out wing sauce

this would make Tabasco a thinned out thinned out wing sauce. and how does Tabasco have a kick but LA doesn't? both Tabasco and cayenne peppers register the same on the Scoville scale. LA hot sauce is thicker, and since I doubt the vinegar is the reason why, it's most likely more cayenne included.

I dont know anything about the process. But if Tabasco hits my tongue in the right spot, it will make my eyes water. Ive never said that about LA or Crystal.

For something like red beans, i can put 5 or 6 dashes of Tabasco in a bowl and i will be able to taste it, and it will compliment my food how i like it. The other stuff, I have to add like 2 tablespoons to even taste it, and it doesn't bring any heat. Just kind of a vinergary buffalo type sauce.

my eyes have never watered from Tabasco, crystal, or la hot sauce.

I've just always thought Tabasco was terrible. maybe it's just because we always had la hot sauce growing up. maybe because it is watered down. who knows.

I'll murder some Tabasco habanero though. that's the only stuff that has made my eyes water.

My favorites are Crystal and Trappey's Red Bull. I only use Tabasco as part of my wing sauce mix.

Go home and pour yourself a T each of Louisiana and Tabasco. Eat in that order. Post here whether you think the heat level is the same.
