The Family grill in Simmesport,La this place is located on hwy.1 fried shrimp are great. steaks also.

Best Burger in Livonia. A small run down lookin shack with great burgers and po-boys. However, beware of the arse-plosion that is soon to follow.

The Villager ---Maurice La...right next to Blaise's and across from City Bar....Best PoBoys i have ever had...Pot Roast Po boy is outstanding....as well as the Philly Cheese Steak...they also have kick arse chilli cheese fries that come in a huge bowl and still have sodas in the old glass bottles.

Get a strawberry shake from Big Johns in Winnsboro and work on that thing all the way to I-20 and still not get but half-way through it!!! Small straw, thick shake with big chunks of strawbery leads to "worn out puckerer"!!!

I'm from Abbeville, the quality at Blacks has really gone down over the years, Dupuy's is much better in my opinion. I haven't been to Shucks yet, so I can't say.

Never made Black's years ago when I was in town...wasn't open...Dupuy's was...AWESOME meal...I ate oysters about 6 or 7 ways.
