It's their ketchup, oddly enough. I work international occasionally and all the Euro's do it. Just gobs and gobs of it. I love mayo but c'mon man.

I seen it. They drown 'em in it.

Yup, when we were in Munich last year, they had street vendors that sold fries in a paper cone LOADED with mayo and raw onions. It was surprisingly tasty.

Agreed. I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve visited Burger King in the past 10 years as a result.

For me it was the food poisoning from a whopper that prevents me from ever going back.

And you don't think that's at all hypocritical?

I'm not much of a mayo fan but I use it to make potato salad (along with yellow mustard, gfy if you don't like it that way, I don't care). I like it in some sauces and dressings. Aioli, Green Goddess, etc. I don't want it on my burger but if I get it then I only want a little bit. Just a scrape on the bun. What sucks is when I get a big glob of it. Anytime I'm actually aware that I'm eating mayo is usually when I'm most turned off by it.

When I encounter someone who hates mayo, I immediately assume a personality disorder or some other mental health issue.

Until I was in my 20’s, I thought the idea of dipping fries in mayo was repulsive.

Then, I tried it.

Been doing it for almost 20 years, and now the thought of dipping my fries in ketchup is repulsive.

Mayo is the GOAT condiment and the only one I need.

I will not eat fries without mayo. They simply are not good enough to justify the stomach space.

SO likes mixing mayo and ketchup. She LOVES curry ketchup if we can find it.(damn Germans) Most of the time we just get a side of mayo for our fries if we are eating out.

Her latest trend is mixing half Kraft Olive Oil mayo and half Miracle Whip. She is not a fan of Hellman's and it has been a while since Blue Plate came in the house.

Soap taste to you or you just don’t like it?

I love mayo. I won’t do ketchup though. Unless it’s mixed with mayo.
