The Inn at Little Washington. While it's considered a DC restaurant it's really 70 miles west towards Shenandoah NP. Good for them, as it has been 40 years in the making.
Has anyone here dined at The Inn? What did you think of it?

I thought in the U.S., Michelin only reviewed/gave ratings in NYC, Chicago, and SF?

DC was added fairly recently.

I ate there a long time ago with my father and really enjoyed it. He is a self taught chef and really keeps his game up. Getting up there in age now I would think.

Do you like tasting menus? And do you like fanciful menus?
Caesar salad ice cream for example?
The inn is a sort of Disneyland, it’s a facsimile of a small European hotel, and the restaurant is similar.
If I was opening a restaurant, or a hotel, I would ground it in the local culture, and make something that was real.
