Depends if you like that outdoor festival type of thing. The set up will be fine, but I think it's probably going to be still to hot for me.
Should be a law against outdoor festivals in Nola from July through September.

It's nice but is hot and, like most other free festivals in New Orleans, crowded. Food is good though.

This is the first year they are charging admission. Was free in the past.

$10 will keep the Rif-Raft out. I seen "The Village People" are playing this year.

I like the festival, but I don't think it is worth the drive from BR. Nola on tap on 9/24 is a much better festival and definitely worth the drive.

its at City Park this year (festival grounds) where there isn't much shade, so be prepared to be hot and sweaty. There's a fee for the first time ($8 in advance) and for that you get serenaded by the sounds of The Village People and the most recent incarnation of Blood, Sweat and Tears. I live in NO and won't go near it this year.

Any idea why they moved this festival? It used to be in mid-October.
