Best burgers in my opinion:

5. Russell's Marina Grill in West End
4. Lakeview Deli? (whatever the place is where Lovecchio's used to be on Harrison)
3. Bud's Broiler (best FAST FOOD-type burger) - and cheap
2. Port o Calls
1. YO MAMA'S BAR AND GRILL - the peanut butter burger will change your life. their prices is slightly better than Port o Calls and they have more selection. They make their burgers differently from Port o Calls, but i like them better. try it if you've never been LINK

that being said, i've never tried Lakeview Harbor nor Beachcorner Bar and Grill. Tom Fitzmorris swears that Beachcorner makes the best burger

have you been to the Swamp Room? their burger and a Beach Burger are the same thing.

The Burger at Lakeview Harbor and Port of Call are the same burger, like many have mentioned, Lakeview Harbor has real bacon, Por of Call has Monsoons, so they both have something going for them

Bombay Club, however, it's not on the menu. You have to ask for it.

Did you ever have a burger at Phat Pats? It's a small sports bar there.

Wrong...he stated that people on the food board claim that NOLA invented a hamburger. I called him on his hyperbole. Clearly, that his statement is not an opinion, but something trying to be passed off as a fact.

Can we quit with the childish bi---ing back and forth?

To the person who originally said, "People on the food board claimed that NOLA invented the burger," go back and edit your post to say:

"The way they go on and on on the Food Board, you'd think they believe NOLA invented the burger."

There. Problem solved. TA now has no need to ask for a link because there are no facts being tossed around, and the others can quit responding.

Jesus christ this is ridiculous.

Well ZPM this was what he originally said "hamburgers (and most cuisine) were created and perfected in New Orleans." Yet TA wanted to be clever and quote "hamburgers were created and perfected in New Orleans." therefore changing the statement from a sarcastic opinion to a fact, which is what he (as do most lawyers) do to their opponents words in a argument. He just gets mad when i call him out on his bullshite for calling other people.

do you get where im comming from?

Eh well, as long as the bi---ing stops, I am fine.
