Unfortunatly. Lying bastads. They can take that DNA and GFTS.

i don't believe a bit of it, balls.. and fwiw, that security surveilance tape they have showing that "incident" out behind the bread storage building wasn't a positive id, in my opinion.. It could have been one of a gazillion 6'6'', 275 white boys, wearing a purple LSU shirt, with GrisGris's Corn and Shrimp Stew recipe hanging out of his pocket, making whoopee with Pookie...

What corn and shrimp stew are you talking about, OG? I have a corn and shrimp bisque recipe, but not stew!

How can ya'll leave Grandy's out? That is easily one of my favorite places in funroe and i make it a point to eat there every time i come home, if only for breakfast. Other than grandy's, i usually make it a point to get by the Louisville Mohawk for a shrimp burger and some gumbo. Bubba always knows what Dad and i want. Waiters like Bubba are a dying breed.

Doesnt the title of the thread include Monroe? I was referring to the monroe grandy's earlier. It is head and shoulders ahead of the wm grandys. The only nod that wm grandys gets over monroe grandys is the self serve rolls and cornbread

There's only one BBQ West now, the one on Cypress. The other 2 were bought out and now go by the name Not Just BBQ.

Did it close down? I know I will get brandished, but I never saw Mohawk as a "go to" place I in Monroe.
I got my career start at Jarrell's Seafood on 139 when I was 14. I started on a Thursday night as a buss boy and was the dishwasher by Sunday. The following weekend, I graduated up to the frog leg and shrimp fryer, which made the money in the kitchen. 14 years old making 75 to 100 a night for 2 to 3 nights a week was badass in those days. We lived in Shenandoah back then and I walked to work with another chap in the hood that was a waiter. The place is now a daycare.
