I bake them, still frozen.

Then chop and pan fry with onion in bacon drippings.

I have never fried frozen ones but have fried fresh ones. I cut them in half and some of the outer leaves fall off and fry up like potato chips. Not sure how frozen will do tho. I’d probably thaw them.

I'm thinking he's referring to how they will make the grease pop while frying since they are frozen.


Kind of like the advice I got many years ago about "Never fry bacon naked."
