Admittedly and regretfully I have never tried Pho.

After watching The Layover last night and his visit to Pho Tau Bay, I am wanting to give it a try.

What is best? Where do I get it? Can decent Pho be found in Baton Rouge?

Several places in the Florida/Sherwood area. I really like Saigon Noodles but usually get the Bo bun hue. GF always gets the seafood pho. Go on urban spoon and look for Vietnamese in BR.

consensus online seems to be that Sa Dec Kitchen and Dang's have the best pho in BR.

Are there any places relatively near campus? You know, that won't require me to drive out close to Denham Springs?

Baton Rouge has got good Vietnamese places. The Missus and I are fond of Cafe Dang. They have good spring rolls and bahn mi. I get pho once in a blue moon, I like the other noodle dishes. And you're right around from that good grocery store

Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Honestly, I'm not even that familiar with any Vietnamese cuisine, not just Pho. Going to be giving it a try soon though.

It's OK. I have friends that really dig it. I would much rather go to the places down Florida, like Dang and the one where Saigon Cafe used to be

Dream Berrie is what I think you are referring to, and I like the chicken pho there. Havent tried anything else, but its good if you work right there and dont want to drive to Florida.

Himalayas is still open
