TD Food Club - idea ever been passed around?

Has anyone ever looked into starting a TD Food Club. Something like a supper club, but not just a get together at different restaurants and/or people's houses. I'm talking stuff like cooking teams for different competitions around Louisiana, or contests among each other like a "Chopped" style comp.

Correct. Kinda tough to do an IRL meet with people living all over the place

There are so many food competitions around south Louisiana, seems like every weekend, I thought it would be cool to have a TD sponsored team representing.
Other things that could done would be a covered dish comp. Everyone shows with a dish (annonimously) for tasting, and we ballot vote on the winner.
We could have prizes like a chef's jacket with a TD logo, or some nice kitchen/cooking tools, etc.

Well, this would be mostly for members in south Louisiana, greater BR area.

I would rather form a cooking team that can be called upon to do charitable cooking events. I am especially in favor of supporting those of our friends on TD that become seriously ill, or have major losses.
