What's the main taste difference between the 12,15,20,and 23 year?

Taste. Not price.

15 is the best IMO

20 is good

23 is whatever...too much age IMO

12 is solid

And I am just the opposite. I love the 23 the most. I like the depth of flavor the extra age adds and I think it smooths it out. But that can also change barrel to barrel.

They are all overated for the price. I think it's psychosomatic for some people. It's rare, expensive, therefore they people thinks it's the greatest bourbon they've ever had. Plus it's a status symbol for people. There are other Bourbons just as good and better for a hell of a lot less.

I agree. I also think people have the opposite reaction and say they are overrated just because the price. Again, not really looking to get opinions on the price. More just looking for the actual taste comparison profiles.

If you come across those and need a volunteer to do a blind taste I promise I’ll give you my honest opinion.

I agree there are plenty cheaper ones out there that are just as good. I do think the PVW lineup is good if you can get it around Msrp. It just gets hard to do that year after year.

I personally think they are all a little over rated. 20 is better than 23 and honestly had a 15 the same night as the 20 and couldn’t tell you there was a difference. 23 has an after bite.

There are plenty of single barrel and small batches that in my opinion are as good and in some cases better.

I sneeze way too much and my taste buds are shite I’ve tried them all and they taste like alcohol. Oh well. I’ll buy the above bottom shelf stuff and pretend it’s pappys or whatever.
