I’m interested in taking some clients on a pass down Tammany trace. They asked to ride bikes and grab a drink and a lunch

Any recommendations please ?

Pyre BBQ is pretty good right next to the trace. Rusty Pelican is a couple blocks down and has good burgers.

Trace is closed around the interstate in Mandeville. You need to pick covington/Abita or Mandeville. Brew pub, Brewery, Abita Cafe, Chimes, Chafunkta brewing Co on the north side. Tons of places on the lake on the south side. Nan's is a good spot towards Lacombe, but it gets a lot of families from pelican Park .

Covington to Abita is a quick and easy ride. Abita Brewery is not far off the trace and is bike friendly. Abita Brew pub is on the trace and has great food.

Meribo in Covington is right on the trace. Pretty decent pizza and a new-ish patio section.

Seriously, this time of year it is no fun. If you want a workout fine. A casual ride more than a few miles for food and drinks will be a drag.

Meribo is still remodeling inside, not sure if they have cooling on the patio?

Cured on Columbia would work
