sur la table, BR
Posted by hungryone

So I know that the Sur La Table store in BR is closing--does anyone know when, and is the store having a closing sale?

They are having a closing sale and the longer they are open, the more the prices will drop. Everything is being directed by their corporate office so the BR employees don’t know how much prices are going to drop and how much longer they will be open.

Tried to go this past weekend and there was a line of about 6-8 people waiting to get in because they would only let 4 people in the store at a time. I felt like I didn’t need anything bad enough to wait in line.

I went last week. Not too much stuff left other than the high dollar stuff (Staub, Le Cruset, knives, high dollar pots/pans), and it was only 20% off

I would imagine the higher end stuff will just be sent off to another store to be sold overpriced. Doesn’t make sense for them to discount those items very much.

Went today.
Got a few good knives on the cheap.
But, as previously mentioned, a lot of Staub and other pricey stuff left.
Most everything was 30% off.
If I get more trump bucks ill probably go back for a Cuisinart or something

Is there anything left? Someone who was there this weekend said it was mostly just fixtures remaining.

I picked up this Shun knife set yesterday at 40% off but still happy with that deal. I received the same chef’s knife as a Christmas gift a few years ago, so I was excited to see a set with an extra slot in the block. They also had a very nice set of Miyabi knives left. But beside that, there wasn’t much left. I had my eye on a few scanpan cookware but they were gone.
