The wife and I have a surprise kid free weekend and looking for a good place for brunch Sunday. We are in lakeview , but, can uber anywhere.

Last time we did Atchafalaya and that was great.

Edit to add - Downvotes asking for a brunch rec?!? Y'all don't like Atchafalaya or Brunch in general?

We enjoy Josephine Estelle. We’re going in soon and I think we’re going to try the Elizabeth Street Cafe.

ETA: looks like Cafe Amalie has reopened…must be where Petite Amalie was…it is a favorite for sure.

You talking about the one inside, San Lorenzo, or the ESC? We’re staying there in a couple of weeks and will eat at one of them for brunch…tough decision.
