We buy the Costco brand and it is really good. Put it in a big clear jug with a spout and slice up a few apples and oranges to throw in for looks, maybe some cinnamon sticks

I had no idea this was something Costco had pre-made. Thank you so much for this tip.

In punch bowl, place 2-3 containers of Lime sherbet. Cover with ginger ale. Add liquor of your choice. Draft someone good looking to serve it.

Classic party punch, should always be served at formal functions and out of a silver punch bowl with a ladel.

I also have used orange sherbet and added 7up with the ginger ale with good reviews.

I'm wondering too, if the sangria was a hit or if he ended up renting a daiquiri machine.

I wish I chimed in sooner.

At my reception, we had several coolers full of a variety of beers, from Bud Light to local crafts. We also had a table of two-buck-chuck reds and whites from Trader Joe's. I think the total alcohol bill was like $200. No liquor.

After the reception, we had booked a real bar for an afterparty where people could drink all the liquor they wanted on their own dime. Booking it was free by the way, as long as our patrons purchased X dollars of booze, which they certainly exceeded.

And everyone had a great time.

Making jungle juice wasn't something that had crossed my mind.
